Payment Options
Consolidated Water District #1 offers the following methods for bill payment:
Check
Money Order
Automatic Bank Withdraw (click here for Authorization Form)
Mastercard and Visa (A $5.00 convenience fee is added to the bill)
Payments may be made by mail, in person or over the phone during business hours.
A drop box
is conveniently located on the front of our office for after hour's payments.

Billing Policies
-
Meters are read generally between the 22nd and 25th of each month. Bills are sent out by the 5th of each month, and are due upon receipt and become delinquent after the 20th. Bills not paid by the 21st receive a 10% late charge.

Bills not paid 10 days after being delinquent are assessed a $5.00 collection fee and are subject to shut-off.

If service is terminated, a reconnection charge is added and must be paid before service can be reconnected.

If you have not received a Bill by the 5th of the month you should call the office. We are not responsible for lost bills.

Starting Service - Existing Home / Business
Buying

As the buyer you will need to sign a "Water Right Transfer Form" and pay the transfer fee.

Fill out a new Application and Customer Information Sheet.

If forms and fee are not received on or before the scheduled final reading scheduled by the Seller the water service will be shut off and not turned on until all forms and fees are received.
Renting
-
As the renter you will need to sign the "Rental Agreement Form" and pay a administrative fee.

If form and fee are not received prior to moving in the meter will be shut off until all forms and fees are received.

Stopping Service
Seller
-
Contact Customer Service with a date to set up a final meter reading.

If selling the home, sign the "Water Transfer Form" and bring this
to our office.

Provide a forwarding address to send the final bill.

Purchasing a New Meter
-
Fill out "Application for Water Service Form"
-
Pay for Water Right at the time of application at the current rate.

If the water main is across the street an additional road bore fee is required.

Bring a copy of the Warranty Deed showing you are the owner and legal description.

Please Display Your Address
Your address must be displayed for meter readers and repair work. Before any new installation can be installed, the address must be displayed and all building materials removed from the installation site. New meters will be installed along the road out of public right-of-way and next to driveways only.

Do Not Block the Meter
Do not park cars over the meter, plant shrubs or trees within a 10 foot radius of the meter, or block
the meter in anyway from maintenance, repair or replacement. Any damage to the meter, pit or lid from neglect or abuse will be repaired and billed to the customer of record. Click
